HISTORY of the GOLD COIN RING

The design by Augustus Saint-Gaudens features Lady Liberty with flowing hair, holding a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left. The US Capitol Building is in the background, accented with six-pointed stars bordering the coin with "LIBERTY" at the very top.

The reverse side design by Miley Busiek includes "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" proudly at the top while featuring a family of bald eagles with the father eagle carrying an olive branch (that represents peace) while the mother holds two eaglets in her wings in the nest, which is made up of more olive branches. The words "IN GOD WE TRUST" are right next to the nest.
